Call for Applications: CATA PhD Prize 2026
The Center for Astrophysics and Associated Technologies (CATA), in its commitment to fostering cutting-edge research and training outstanding researchers, announces the opening of the call for applications for the 2026 CATA PhD Prize.
This initiative aims to recognize and advance the careers of our new generation of scientists by rewarding the quality, originality, and impact of their doctoral theses. The CATA PhD Prize is aimed at recognizing scientific excellence and the impact of traditional doctoral research.
Key Dates and Eligibility Requirements
Eligible participants include researchers who have been affiliated with CATA and who have earned their doctoral degree within the stipulated timeframe. As an exception for this edition, theses successfully defended between November 1, 2024, and July 31, 2026, will be accepted.
Application Procedure
Applications must be submitted exclusively through the official Application Portal.
Application Deadline: August 22, 2026, at 16:00 hours.
