Technological know-how to Chilean industries and society in general.
As a result of our technology development efforts, we expect to transfer technological know-how to Chilean industries and the general public.
In this new stage CATA will focus its efforts in developing technology transfer including new applications of astronomical instrumentation techniques in telecommunications and digital signal processing techniques for satellite applications, but also applying our expertise in sensorization and IoT on industries such as mining and agriculture. CATA will also pursue the transfer of the Center’s algorithms developed to process large amounts of astronomical data, in order to apply them in both public and private sector arrays.
