Walter Max-Moerbeck

I study jets in active galaxy nuclei with the aim of understanding the mechanisms responsible for their emission at high energies. My main tools are radio telescopes, and I have interest and experience in various aspects such as instrumentation, commissioning and operation of telescopes. In addition to radio astronomy, I have experience in gamma-ray astronomy, applied statistics, time series analysis and optimization for scheduling telescope observations.
